It’s a wrap for another successful edition of DNV’s Singapore Energy Transition Conference 2022!
We kicked off with an overview of the energy transition and Southeast Asia’s Pathway to net zero in a chat with DNV’s Group President and CEO, Remi Eriksen who joined us live in person this year.
With DNV forecasting that developed nations (including Singapore) must reach #netzero before 2050, I had a very interesting conversation with energy players and industry experts: Brice Le Gallo (DNV – Energy Systems), Fauziah Marzuki (Bloomberg NEF), Eric Francia (ACEN), Tan Wooi Leong , PMP (Surbana Jurong Private Limited), Ariff Adry Adnan (Gentari) and Dannif Danusaputro (PT. Pertamina Power Indonesia) to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing energy companies in this transition and assess renewable energy uptake in different parts of the region.
We also had a lively discussion with Datuk Yang Chien Yee (MISC Berhad), Prof Lynn Loo (Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation), Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria (DNV – Maritime) and Tat Win Law (Chevron ) on what it will take to generate tangible momentum to accelerate maritime decarbonisation through pilots, (public and private sector) #partnerships and policies, and capital.
