Do you translate well on a panel?

PART 2: 2️⃣ tips to ensure you leave the right impact.

FORM:
Good posture conveys authority and expertise. Slouching or fidgeting can make you seem nervous or unprepared, detracting from your main message.

Content and Facial expression:
Does your expression match your content? If you’re speaking to inspire, you should look hopeful, and sound energetic and emphatic! On the flip side, you would want to look appropriately solemn if you’re addressing a serious topic. Congruency matters here!

Essentially, your non-verbal cues contribute to the overall impact of your participation on a panel. It reinforces your message, helps maintain engagement, and ensures you come across as professional and credible.
