Here’s a top tip that I apply at every engagement/ presentation:
As a news anchor, we’re often required to “drop questions” or “improvise on the spot”, given the very dynamic nature and limited time of a “live” broadcast. So identifying key message points / must-ask questions that hit the crux of the interview or presentation — beforehand is a must! This takes discernment, but practice makes perfect in honing this essential skill.
