At the recent Raffles Family Office Annual Forum, I had the opportunity to moderate an opening fireside chat with the Honourable Joseph Yam, Hong Kong’s former Central Bank chief of 16 years. He also contributed to formulating the peg between the Hong Kong dollar and US dollar.
Our conversation centred around #monetarypolicy, internationalisation of the yuan, the role of Hong Kong as an international financial centre and what investors and future leaders can do to ‘stay ahead of the game’.
